Homeowners
Condominiums, terrace houses and bungalows across the Klang Valley — from single statement pieces to full renovations.
Timberline Craft Studio began as two carpenters and a rented shoplot in Pudu. Eleven years and 1,200 commissions later, the shoplot is bigger — but the way we work has not changed.
Our founders, Lim Wei Sheng and Azman Rashid, met on a hotel fit-out project in 2012. Both had spent years watching good joinery get squeezed out by flat-pack shortcuts, and both believed there was still a market in Malaysia for furniture made properly. In 2014 they signed the lease on a corner lot in Fraser Business Park and started taking commissions.
Today the studio employs fourteen full-time craftsmen — cabinet makers, finishers, an in-house designer and two installation crews. Most of the team has been with us for over five years. Several trained here from their first apprenticeship.
We remain deliberately small. Every project is reviewed at the bench by one of the founders before it ships, and that only works if we never take on more than the workshop can honestly build.
Before anything is cut you see and touch the actual timber, board and hardware going into your piece — not photos of them.
Our quotations are itemised and fixed. If we misjudge a site condition, the correction is our cost, never yours.
Five years of workmanship warranty on built-ins, and a phone number that the same people answer year after year.
Roughly half of our commissions come directly from homeowners; the other half arrive through interior design firms and contractors who need a workshop they can trust with their reputation.
Condominiums, terrace houses and bungalows across the Klang Valley — from single statement pieces to full renovations.
White-label fabrication to your drawings, with shop drawings returned for approval and site coordination handled by us.
Reception counters, storage walls and workstations built around wiring, compliance and brutal daily use.
Casegoods, banquettes and counters for cafés, restaurants and boutique hotels — delivered against hard opening dates.
Visitors are welcome Monday to Saturday. Watch the benches at work, handle the timber, and meet the people who will build your piece.
